well, once again, i didn't make cookies. i made pie, a crappy one at that. i made food network's lemon chess pie. see, doesn't it look good?
okay, i did make some gingerbread last weekend with the kids and have one pic of a gingerbread apple. the kids really enjoyed the recipe, but i didn't think it was so good, not enough spice for me. i like mine to bite.
it would have been a lot cuter if i had remember to put the green sprinkles on the leaf! oh well...
enjoy.

I'm always disappointed too if a recipe doesn't come out the way I want it to. We all have those days. But, at least you got to try it out and those gingerbread apples look very cute.
Sorry that the pie didn't turn out the way you had hoped (hubs and I were just talking about that movie over the weekend, so your comment made me chuckle a little!)
I like your cookies, with or without green sprinkles!
Aww, I hate it when a recipe totally flops.
Sorry the pie didn't work out...I had a similar situation in my kitchen this week with Pink Lemonaid Cupcakes... yep, all 12 in the trash. Boo! Oh well I guess it happens... the cookies look adorable!
Sorry you didn't like it !!
Unfortunately, I have tossed rejects in the trash before too! :( The pie sure LOOKS good. I love gingerebrad cookies and your apple looks great!
We've all been there, but it's THE RECIPE not you. It would NEVER be you. (That's what I always tell people -- not me. Noooo.)
I do, I do, I do!!! I WANT IT...no one else has claimed it, send it over asap!!! Lemon is my favorite anything. My very favorite. There is never anything lemon I don't love...are you convinced?
I have always loved Chess Pie but have never actually made one myself.
